and in a not-so-shocking turn of events

Burna boy leads with the most nominations for a Nigerian and African artist

with a total of four nominations.

which include; Best male RnB/Pop artist, Video director of the year

viewers choice award and Best international Act.

the spaceship artist is followed closely by the rebel gang leader Tems

who managed 3 nominations

for Best Female RnB/Pop artist, Best collaboration, and the Viewers Choice Award.

both artists are on incredible form and expected to take home awards

from their several nominations.

frequent nominee, Wizkid

was also nominated for best collaboration

with his effort on “call me every day” featuring Chris Brown.

while sabi girl, Ayra starr

makes it to the list for best international act

alongside the likes of central cee, Ella Mai and the afore mentioned Burna boy.

then Last but not least, Mr money “Asake”

rounds up the nominations for Nigerian artists.
