Undeniably one of the best tracks on the album
davido teams up with the cavemen and anjelique kidjo
to deliver an afro centric melody.
this was certainly a combo we did not know we needed.
TA TA TA- BAYANNI, JASON DERULO
Bayanni and Jason Derulo created an absolute vibe with this one.
the Mavins academy product picked the right feature
to secure such a high replay value remix
from this track off his self titled EP.
“Ta Ta Ta” ensures we’re still Grooving at this point in the playlist.
COTTON CANDY (SWEET LIKE) PREYE
We slow things down a bit with an absolute gem from Preyé
this is the first single of the year from the Nigerian soul artist.
and it’s safe to say her year is off to a great start.
DISTURBING U- DARKOO, AYRA STARR
Darkoo and the celestial being kick the vibes back up a Nodge with “disturbing u’
both stars ask a genuine question on this track.
seeking to know why their happiness should be a cause for concern for some.
“please live your life, while I live mine” is the clear message here.
BELIVE ME- JHONNY DRILLE
Jhonny Drille doing what Jhonny Drille does best
his scintillating vocals glide over the afro fusion beat.
“believe me” is the perfect Nigerian wedding reception jam.
But of course you don’t have to wait till that special day to enjoy this vibe
MAGIC- MANNYWELLZ
Mannywellz has such a unique sound, incase you hadn’t already noticed.
and he relishes with that fact on this track
with “magic” we still maintain the vibe jhonny drill set
from the previous track on the playlist.
OPERATION- WINNY
Remember when we said
we had taken the time to put together some really good songs?
this is proof.
Winny is Absolutley incredible
she switches the whole vibe up with this reggae inspired tune.
WHAT DO YOU WANNA DO?- HUNTER ROSE
it’s back-to-back Gems now
as hunter rose soothes us with a beautiful RnB/soul mix track titled
“what do you wanna do?”
we’re calm and relaxed at this point in the playlist.
HABA NA HABA- MAU FROM NO WHERE
Mau from no where has a way with rhymes
he glides over the track so effortlessly.
still in that calm and relaxed state,
“Haba na haba” is an alternative melody that any lover of good music would appreciate.
HOW MANY TIMES- DJ BIG N, AYRA STARR
We cap it all off with an all star trio
as DJ Big N recruits ayra and oxlade
for an excellent delivery on this single.
and it justifies why this is one of the tracks currently on repeat.
