is widely considered as one of the biggest streetwear brands

free the youth was founded by a crew of fashion Entrepreneurs in Accra
dedicated to constantly pushing the boundaries
of the Ghanaian street wear and music community
and Neo African street wear culture as a whole.
it was with such mindset, the brand announced a U.S.A tour
that officially took off on the 28th of April
in Virginia beach and will run till the 11th of June.
making stops in hot spots like Virginia, Washington, Atlanta, Miami, and others.
the brand has previously conducted a successful European tour in 2022.
SOMETHING IN THE WATER X F.T.Y
To kick off free the youth U.S.A tour in the biggest way possible
the brand collaborated with “something in the water” presented by Walmart
a festival put together by the creative polymath that is Pharrell Williams.
free the youth curated a pop-up on festival grounds
with limited edition merch.
showcasing along side recognized brands like billionaire boys club, human race and adidas.
there was also a live screen-printing workshop with @google
and and official festival party to end the event
that held from the 28th till the 30th of may.
F.T.Y X SOMEWHERE
The next stop during the tour is the capital, Washington D.C
hosting a pop-up the somewhere store.
free the youth set up at the Stockist on the 6th of may
the Washington D.C store stocks brands like New Balance, ERL, Salomon and Rick Owens.
NEXT UP; NEW YORK
New York is the next stop in the tour for the brand.
on saturday the 13th of may
F.T.Y will unveil latest collections, projects and other surprises
all at the restocked nyc retail store.
so far the tour has been truly engaging to say the least
