It was indeed a miscellany of glamour, picturesque and sheer resplendence at the just concluded Lagos Fashion Week 2022. The Lagos fashion week as we know it, is an International fashion exhibition held annually in Lagos State, the fashion capital of Nigeria. The 2022 edition of the Lagos Fashion Week was a 5-day show held between 26th – 30th October, 2022 mainly at the Lagos FW Tents, Federal Palace Hotel, Lagos while a couple of other exhibitions and private presentations held at various undisclosed offsites locations.

The Lagos Fashion Week features runway shows and presentations from renowned and rising designers from Nigeria and across Africa, talent discovery initiatives; provides a platform for development, support and promotion of the Nigerian and African fashion industry and with the convergence of designers and brands, fashion accelerators, fashion enthusiasts and consumers, it creates an avenue for creative and entrepreneurial exchange amongst participants.

At a fashion event such as this, there was no paucity of style, radiance and zest. While we relished the beautiful and colourful displays on the runways, we were not unmindful of the stylish displays by some very fashionable attendees. We spotted a number of fashion enthusiasts and attendees dressed to the nines in cutting-edge and breath-taking garbs as they sashayed their way into the different exhibitions.
