is the pioneer of an Afro fusion sound called “Afro Rave”.

Fela recorded a total of 46 studio albums
over the course of a 23 year long solo career.

Ayodeji Ibrahim Balogun professionally known as wizkid
is currently one of the most influential African artist of all time.
Wizkid made it to the Guinness world record back in 2016
for being part of the artists with the first single
to reach a billion streams on Spotify.
his effort on the record breaking “one dance’ by drake featuring Kyla
saw him secure a spot in the Guinness books.

Nigerian DJ, Asu-Johnson popularly known as DJ soul yin.
broke the World Record for the longest Dj set in October 2021.
She broke the record by operating her set for 243 hours, 30 minutes, at The Grill by Yanna, Ikoyi, Lagos.
that’s over 10 days!
the record was previously set by by a fellow Nigerian, DJ Obi
when he performed for 230 hours at the Sao Café in Lagos, Nigeria.
HILDA BASSEY

Last but not least, our recent Guinness world record star, Hilda Bassey.
the now famous cook, made national and international buzz
with her successful attempt to break the previous record
for the longest solo cooking marathon.
set at 87 hours and 45 minutes by the Indian chef, Tata London in 2021.
although it is yet to be confirmed officially
by the Guinness world records themselves
but Hilda Bassey currently holds the record
for longest solo cooking marathon by anyone, anywhere
set at over a 100 hours.
