As Residents Of Abuja, One thing we get to hear most times is how Abuja is so-so boring and theres really nothing to do(compared to other places e.g Lagos),well we can agree to an extent but we can also disagree too! To Cut the intro short, the beautiful people at WAKAABOUT have put together 3/4 fun activities to try out this weekend just so you keep the boredom away *JOIN A HIKING SQUAD We know this is so Cliche, but i mean its one of the best ways to do something fun and engaging while burning those calories. with the vast amount of highland/hills in Abuja, hiking is one fun activity thats really on the come up here and its also a great way to meet people.all you have to do is join any of the Hiking groups available like STRIDES, NAIJA ADVENTURES (to mention a few) with a tax of about N1000 You’ll be off to your first hiking experience. *TRY KAYAKING Yes,you read right Kayaking in Abuja and this is def on the top of our list. this kayaking spot is new and located just around Abuja’s city centre and cost about N200o-N3500 to catch the experience, and if you have a phobia for water, swimming(and all that) we suggest you humble skip this activity though can assure it will be a fun experience to try. *CATCH AN OUTDOOR MOVIE Another spot we’ve been gushing about lately is the New Sunset Drive Outdoor Cinema located in zone 5. grab your best buddies, grab some food and be on that good-good,then catch a movie outdoor (anyway thats what i’ll do,cant say for you) Movie tickets usually cost within N1000-N1,500/N2000 depending…… *TRY A NEW RESTAURANT #EKPOEATS recommends two of our favourite old and new spots you could try in your free time *Q CAFE great Ambience, great food and a long array of new chow to try on their Menu!#WELOVEQ *THE MEXICAN DINNER Tacos,Nachos you name it, the Mexican Dinner probably got. this place recently opened up and from what we’ve heard and read, we can assure this should be a good try but the sad thing is……….they only do takeouts/deliveries I Know,we are sad too!
