“Wear Thirsty”, the vibrant African streetwear brand led by the multi-talented Straffitti recently joined forces with Nest Hub, a dynamic African creative space to bring to life the inaugural ‘ThirstyxNest Creative Clinic/Camp.’ This unique event, held in early January 2024 invited participants to immerse themselves in a 3-4 day creative journey. Through email registrations and exclusive invitations attendees delved into an immersive experience led by raw passion and hunger, the core of Wear Thirsty’s vision. The design camp guided participants through the entire process of crafting a runway show, turning creative ideas into tangible expressions. The culmination of this collaborative effort was an exclusive runway show showcasing not only the crafted looks from the camp but also unveiling unreleased pieces from the Wear Thirsty brand. The Thirstyxnest event not only celebrated creativity but also embodied the spirit of collaboration and the fusion of artistic vision. Adding an extra layer of stardust, notable figures like Yhemo Lee, Rahman Jago, Zlatan, and more graced the event, infusing the celebration of creativity with the electric energy of their presence.
